The origins of SK natural cosmetics
There is a story behind every brand
Mine began with a passion for skin and nature. SK Naturkosmetik was born out of initial experiences, deep insights and a longing for honest, effective care.
Here I tell you about my personal journey.
My foundation
SK stands for Susanne Kaußen. At 62 years of age, I can look back on more than three decades in which skin has become my professional life. Full of passion, experience and dedication.
During this time, I was able to accompany countless skin stories. This has resulted in a wealth of experience, nourished by kinesiology and the development of my own natural cosmetics line.
Skin carries memories.
Of sunny days, sad hours and moments of happiness.
It speaks its own language, which I have learned to understand over the years. Even what we sometimes hide from ourselves. My passion is to recognize these signals and find ways to bring the skin and the person back into balance.
My way
At the age of 28, I quit my secure job as an executive secretary without notice because I felt that my heart was beating for something else. I wanted to become a beautician and at the same time meet people on a deeper level. It was a courageous decision and the beginning of my true calling.
Even during my training, it felt like I had never done anything else. Working with skin and people was so natural and fulfilling for me that I knew this was exactly where I belonged.
The spirit of research
However, I soon realized that many conventional products did more harm to the skin than good. My inquiring mind led me to kinesiology. There I learned to look deeper. Not just at the visible symptoms, but also at the hidden causes of skin problems.
In 2013, I trained as a transformational therapist with Robert Betz. This time broadened my perspective: away from just “treating” and towards understanding how closely the body, feelings and thoughts are connected.
This knowledge is still incorporated into every consultation and into the development of my products.
My natural cosmetics line
All these experiences gave rise to my own brand:
SK Naturkosmetik Susanne Kaußen.
Together with a German manufacturer, I develop formulas that are pure, honest and effective. High-quality plant oils, precious essences, special fragrance compositions and St. Leonhard’s full moon spring water give my products their uniqueness.
Each product carries a piece of my personality. My attention to detail, my clear attitude and my dedication to skin health.

This sentence was not written at my desk, but along the way. From encounters with women who long for clarity and confidence, who want to arrive at their skincare routine.
It is my conviction that true beauty can only grow where skin and person are in harmony.
My slogan sums up everything I stand for: freedom from harmful substances, the feeling of being beautiful and comfortable in your own skin and the power of pure nature that has a visible effect.
